This Empirical study is mainly concerned with the state of mental health in the Palestinian territories as this zone is at high risk and frequently vulnerable for traumatization. The Palestinian people has been suffering from the suffocation and oppression of the occupation for long decades. Other socioeconomic conditions have further complicated the mental health status in the Palestinian territories such as redundancy poor income and poor services. Poor psychiatric and social services provided to people are also a major contributor to the aggravation of mental health status in the Palestinian territory. Sigma attached to mental health appears to have a major role to play in this aggravation as well. We hope that this study provides a better understanding of these phenomena in it’s natural in terms of size, description and causal relationships.
